The DC Young Democrats are the official youth arm of the DC Democratic Party, comprised of people ages 18-35. The DC Young Democrats work to engage young people in the political process, elect Democratic candidates, and train the next generation of Democrats.

Membership in DCYD is open to every resident of the District of Columbia who is over 18 and has not yet reached the age of 36 and is a registered Democrat in DC.
